Another showbiz pair with a multi-cultural, part-adoptee family look to be running into problems. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have three natural children and three from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia respectively.
Their composite chart with an unstable Pisces Sun opp Pluto Uranus has been under pressure for some time with tr Pluto wending its challenging way in hard aspect. But it will come to a head soon with tr Uranus opposing the composite Pluto from late April onwards. Tr Saturn then also starts picking up that central composite Sun Uranus Pluto opposition from mid 2009 onwards which will bring a sense of coolness and separation. With tr Pluto then attacking the composite Uranus by square in 2010/11 to create more disruptions. And as if that wasn''t enough tr Neptune is conjunct the composite Mars in 09/10 bringing disappointment.
Brad Pitt is a Sagittarius with tr Uranus about to square his Sun from late April 09 for a year thereafter which will bring tensions out into the open since he won''t put up with compromises any longer. His Solar Arc Venus is this year also opposition his natal Uranus which again points to a need for freedom.
Angelina Jolie, a Gemini with an Aries Moon, like Madonna has difficult Moon aspects, almost more difficult, since her Moon is opposition Pluto, conjunct Mars square Saturn so her emotional life is a turmoil of angst and great tensions; plus a 4th house Uranus suggesting a childhood which was constantly on the move and never felt secure.
Brad Pitt on the other hand has a contented 4th house Jupiter natally so home for him is an easier energy. His career is heading for greater heights, while Angelina Jolie''s is in the doldrums for a while ahead.
Jolie Pitt and Kidman Urban babies From: Marjorie. (13 Jul 2008 15:55): Two sets of celebrity babies turned up this week. Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban''s daughter arrived on 7 July in Nashville in the morning. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt''s twin boy and girl arrived yesterday 12 July 2008 in Nice, France around 8pm. All three children have a charming home loving, creative Sun Venus in Cancer opposition Jupiter in Capricorn - so they''ll attract the good things in life (Jup in Cap), be sociable (Jup opp Ven) and adore their respective fathers (Sun Ven Jup). But they also have a very different energy coming a Mars Saturn conjunction in Virgo trine Pluto which means that life will not be that easy or straightforward for them, with some accidents and deprivations (Mars Saturn) which will engender discipline and self control; and perhaps being put in high risk situations (Mars Saturn Pluto). Their early years may be challenging since transitting Pluto will come into exact aspect with the trine to Mars Saturn between now and 2012.
The Jolie/Pitt twins will be very emotional since they have a water grand trine of intense Scorpio Moon trine Cancer Sun trine Uranus so will to some extent live in their own private world. This could fuel either their creativity or healing abilities since the Grand Trine becomes a lucky, talented kite with a sextile from Jupiter to Moon and Uranus and opposition to the Sun. But they may also have a few emotional issues along the way as their mother had - since if the 8pm birth time is right then Mars Saturn is in the 8th and Pluto in the 12th. Neither parent is really tuned into the Water element - Jolie is Fire/Air and Pitt is Fire/Earth - so they''ll find the twins'' emotional sensitivities difficult to understand or handle. But the two children will have a deeper relationship with their father since their Sun Venus falls in his 8th house and his Capricorn Venus and Moon connects to their Cancer Sun and Venus. Their Pluto also is conjunct his Sun so they''ll be possessive of him. Angelina''s Saturn in Cancer is conjunct their Sun so the effects of her emotionally unhappy childhood may get in the way of a good rapport and they''ll find her defensive or overly hard working. Her Uranus also squares their Sun, Venus so she''ll also be experienced as erratic and unpredictable.
The Kidman/Urban baby has Sun Venus in Cancer trine Uranus but almost certainly a Virgo Moon so will be more practical, less emotionally hyper-sensitive than the Jolie/Pitt twins. She does have a Mercury in Gemini opposition Pluto square Uranus so will be inventive, quick thinking, highly strung, at times inclined to see the downside but possibly quite an innovator in her own way. Depending on how early in the day she was born she either has her Virgo Moon conjunct Mars Saturn which does not suggest an easy relationship to the mother - here mother is overly hard working, too disciplinarian, not concerned with her needs. Or if later in the morning it''s a Moon opposition Uranus widely square Pluto - which is an erratic mother, sometimes there, sometimes not, both possessive and rejecting. Both Kidman and Urban have Saturn in Aries square their daughter''s Cancer Sun so their insistence on self reliance may be experienced as coldness and a barrier to intimacy. Kidman''s Gemini Sun is exactly opposition her daughter''s Pluto and square her Uranus so it will be a changeable relationship. Kidman''s Sagittarian Moon is probably square her daughter''s Virgo Moon - so different things comfort them and Kidman''s Sag direct speaking may be felt as critical and insensitive. Urban is Scorpio with probably a Leo Moon so he is in part more emotional. His Venus is probably conjunct his daughter''s Moon which is a good connection and his Jupiter is conjunct her Mars Saturn which will soften some of the hardship of that aspect. But his Mars in early Capricorn is conjunct her Pluto so there may be a few power struggles in later life. All three children will probably gravitate more to their fathers despite Cancer''s reputation as a mother-loving sign.

It seems a shame to rain on their parade if they're blissfully happy at the moment. Though I never trust public displays of affection set up for the media. It is a relationship based very much on control, probably starting on a 'karmic' feel of fatedness (Sun Pluto opposition in the composite). But Uranus is coming along to rattle the bars of their cage from mid March 08 as it conjuncts the Sun which will either shift the balance of power or see a fight for freedom. By the end of 2008 both disruptive Uranus and separating, chilly Saturn are hard aspecting that Sun which will not encourage cosy togetherness. Into 2009 Uranus then opposes Pluto which will stand everything on its head, continuing into 2010 and Saturn in 2009 is also conjunct Pluto which will make them feel chained into a situation they'd really rather not be in. In 09/10 as well Pluto trines the composite Saturn which is very tough going and not a morale boosting time for their relationship. Brad's Sun is exactly square the composite Pluto so when it shakes loose, it may be triggered by his need for more elbow room. If there's a divorce and it's not mandatory - some people just tough it out through the bleak times - then I'd imagine the actual split might not come till 2013 when both their Sun/Moon midpoints are hard aspected. But with his Sun/Moon at 9 Capricorn he's got Saturn on it in 2010, and Uranus and Pluto on it 2012/13 which is a fairly rocky ride.
Angelina is in a non-ambitious, lower profile time at the moment, really until 2011 and will be feeling fairly held back in 2011 with her Secondary Progressed Sun sitting on her natal Saturn. This year she's also fairly depressed through February, May/June and December with Pluto opposing her Sun/Saturn. In general with Jupiter conjunct her midheaven she'll end up well respected especially in the later stages of her life. And she does have Saturn on the point of a wide-ish T square which usually brings respect later in life, though it may be more for behind-the-scenes work then anything too upfront and she won't have her troubles to seek with Saturn, Uranus and Pluto bouncing off her Pluto opposition Mars, Moon square Saturn between 2010 and 2017.
Brad Pitt is in a more upbeat career phase with both Saturn and his Secondary Progressed Moon heading for his 10th house in a couple of years time, starting a peak for him of several years thereafter until 2015. Though he's got a thoroughly jangled time in 09/10 with both Saturn in 09 and Uranus in both years hard aspecting his Sagittarian Sun and MC/IC axis (and the relationship Pluto) which will be very up and down. Uranus into the 4th will certainly bring out domestic tensions from there on in. 09/10 also have Pluto opposition Sun/Mars which is very stuck. What I'd worry about for him is his Secondary progressed Mars approaching a conjunction with his 3rd house Saturn. It won't make it exact until 2014 but it'll be within orb before then which will be accident prone and very impatient. His secondary Progressed Sun is only a few degrees behind so it means effectively through the next decade he'll have Prog. Mars and Sun close to Saturn which isn't too chirpy.
Angelina's chart: A friendly Gemini, she loves being involved in group activities and has a wide circle of friends. A dynamic collection of Mars, Moon and Jupiter in Aries in the 9th make her an enthusiastic promoter of her pet causes especially if they involve other countries. She enjoys travel, is likely to live away from her country of birth for extended periods and can be fairly argumentative. Mars in Aries is very dynamic, upfront, but not always sensible. With Pluto in opposition, she likes to walk on the wild side, can be very stubborn and at times takes unnecessary risks. Her love of knives and daggers comes from that awkward Mars Saturn Pluto T square, which has a hankering for danger and the dark side of life. With Saturn in the 12th squaring onto that opposition, she lacked a father figure in childhood. Her father, actor John Voight, left the family home when she was one year old. She has always felt and acted as an outsider, the one who doesn’t fit into society and really doesn’t want to fit. Her emotional needs were not met in childhood which is perhaps why she has had difficulties settling into permanent committed relationships in adult life. Neptune in the 5th also suggests a need for romantic bliss, which will tend to idealise partners initially and then be disappointed. Neptune in opposition to her Sun brings artistic ability though also vagueness and impracticality. Her own children are likely to be creative, sensitive, intuitive though also slightly fragile personalities. With Uranus in the 4th her home life will never be settled since she’s basically a free spirit and feels uncomfortable if she gets too rooted. Venus on her ascendant in Cancer gives her beauty, an aura of motherliness.
Present Influences: 2006 is an unsettling year for her with Uranus square her Sun until early 2007 bringing excitement, impulse decisions and some upsets. She won’t be willing to compromise. Into a low profile career phase for a few years she won’t find the motivation or circumstances to be as successful as she was and will at times be struggling with unresolved personal issues from her past. Till the end of 2006 she may feel gloomy or discouraged, at times highly strung and not always supported. Though from December she’ll be more sociable and enjoy being around children. An upheaval at home or a move of her domestic base will occur also in 2007 as Pluto sextiles her 4th house Uranus.
Her Relationship with Brad Pitt: With a charming exact Venus Mars trine in their composite there is a feeling of complementarity, high enthusiasm and good bonding between them. Though with the Sun in opposition to Pluto, the early intensity may give way to power struggles and disputes about who has the last word or makes the key decisions. 2006 was a year of some pressures, deep feelings and some aggravation with Pluto sextile Venus and Mars as well as squaring Pluto on their composite chart. From early 2008 Uranus will start to conjunct the composite Sun which will bring major upheavals, a need to loosen controls in the relationship and perhaps a desire on both sides for free space.
